Kata Group

Kata Group has supported us for many years. During the yearly Phuket International Rugby Tens tournaments, we bring students on the Scholarship Program to one of the Kata group hotels for a one night stay provided at a discounted rate. For many students,that is the first time they have ever experienced of staying in a hotel.  They are also treated to a wonderful buffet dinner which has been sponsored by Kata Group on many occasions.

Phuket Vagabonds Rugby Club

The Phuket Vagabonds have played a role in the ACF Youth Rugby Development Program initiated by Patrick Cotter, Chairman of the Phuket Vagabonds. Various local clubs, coaches and players also have been involved in helping with either coaching, providing gear or in funding to enable Phuket Lomas team to participate in different tournaments.

Phuket Rugby 10’s

Since June 2004, ACF has teamed up with the Phuket Vagabonds Rugby Club to raise funds during the Phuket International Rugby Ten’s Competition hosted annually at the end of May. Teams from across the rugby world participate in this event and by doing so help to raise funds in support of the children on the ACF Scholarship Program.

Asia Exchange

Asia Exchange provides foreign students with the opportunity of study programs with Asian universities. As part of the study experience, students are required to visit local charities so they are better informed about the community in which they live and study. Each student makes a donation, and funds donated in this way in the past enabled ACF to do some maintenance and upgrading to the current Childcare facility for Thai children.

Old Bangkok Bangers

The “Bangkok Bangers on Bikes” Charity Bike Ride started in 2010 and was initiated by Bob Pearson, a Bangkok Banger rugby club member and avid supporter of the Phuket International Rugby Tens for years. The ride takes place over 5 days and each cyclist raises funds which are donated to ACF. More than 1 million baht has been raised by the event in the past 4 years.

Prince of Songkla University

It is truly encouraging to witness the active participation of the young adults in the local community. Students from the Prince of Songkla, Phuket campus, have been involved with a variety of ACF events and projects. Under the guidance of PSU academic staff, as well as independently, they have shown a commitment to the community which benefited ACF and the children ACF cares for on a regular basis.
