A Group of Burmese children from one of ACF's projects
recently had the opportunity to broaden their horizons
and experience a side of Phuket they have never seen.
They joined kids from ACF's Thai children's projects
as well as a group of children from the north of Thailand
in a fun out reach week hosted by ACF in partnership
with Free To Serve (FTS)

Looking for something sweet after dinner at Welcoming Party
During this week they not only had the opportunity to befriend
children from another region of Thailand but also to visit the
tourist hot spots in Phuket, dine in style and most importantly grew in their relationship with God.
Participating in the fun game with Thai friends on the Outreach Day
Each day was meticulously planned weeks in advance by
a dedicated ACF team to ensure that all had fun and that an environment was created to facilitate personal
and spiritual growth amongst the children.

Highlights off the week included a buffet welcoming dinner at
Kata Resort Hotel in Kata beach, courtesy of Khun Eam
Thavornvongwongse, (ACF Board Chairman), Bible stories
coupled with lessons on how to share their faith with other children. Various trips to the beach, practical water safety skills
presented by the Phuket Lifeguard Association, a trip to the
aquarium and Phang Nga added to their general knowledge and
respect for the sea.
Children being excited to see what are inside the Gift Box from ACF
The growth of the children over such a short period of time was
truly amazing. Seeing them bloom from shy awkwardness on
the first day to expressive exuberance on the last was a great
experience. Apart from fond memories, new friendships and
life lessons we pray that they left renewed in hope.
